#OnlyConnect S20E09 is geoblocked, the angel who makes geoblocked episodes available for us nonUK people hasn't done so this week, and my regular angel is in bed being treated for back pain.Torrents and Reddit aren't yielding anything fruitful: anyone know of a publicly available link to a download?

Posting because I know three people who will care:- today I hung out with my best friend in #Vancouver, we went to Kits Beach, Jean Beaty Park, and UBC for #geocaching. I bought #sassafras root to brew.- I prepared #PepperSteak, with brandy, beef bouillon and whipped cream, and baked potato. Bacon fat massaged into the potato skins. At 400F and an hour the potatoes split open like popped corn.- Watching either a Jan Svankmajer film or a Luis Bunuel film with my kid. Maybe #LupinoLane too!

I brought #Murchies tea for an informal get-together with #KingCharles and #PrincessOfWales. I whispered to Catherine, who was dressed in white, do I have to curtsey and use titles, and she said 'not after the first meeting at these nonevents'. Charles, in an oyster-grey suit, lent his silver for the tea things and was gracious. Catherine vanished, #QueenCamilla didn't appear at all. It strikes me that these two are afflicted with cancer, which took my husband five years ago tomorrow.

@DaddyO thank you. Last year we barely noticed, last Wednesday the loss weighed me down like a boulder. The dream itself was not sad, I am giving it over for interpretation and am having Princess Blend tea today, as I don't have the blend(s) named for the sovereign. Maybe it's symbolic the man on my coinage lent me silver.

I correctly installed and organized folders for all Brother printer drivers, user guides, installer, and tool. I correctly configured the laser printer to connect to our wireless network.I set the time and date and UTC setting.I went to the localhost CUPS interface to ascertain the printer was recognized.I did a test print.I now must complete an automatic drum cleaning process.I made pastry for raspberry tarts to bring to #GIFF2025.I feel like a winner today.

@publius I used terminal Linux commands too! I have to clean the drum roller at some point, but that's probably minor. I don't want to deal with it now because I am off to a film festival in twenty minutes and don't need to risk being a toner magnet.

I am lucky to live in a province, I tell myself when I am driving and slowed by enormous trucks and construction lane closures, and halted by long freight trains, with thriving trade and industry and can fund transportation and highway improvement projects.I also learned today that one petro-dependent province hasn't opened new hospitals since 1988. I can't think how electing a Putin-puppet premier whose govt doesn't fund hospitals helps aging demographic; maybe tar sands keep people healthy.
