@anders I haven't done this yet, but one thing that might help is to have a list of accounts that are "must read" for you, that you can look at when there's a huge backlog, as it will let you get at what's most important.Perhaps even have both a "must read" and a "maybe read" list.

Whoever needs this may take it:For pets who are terrified of fireworks or thunderstorms, ask yourself "what snack or treat absolutely makes their world go 'round?"Take that snack or treat and split it into a decent quantity of very small portions. If it will keep, do this ahead of time and keep it stocked.Whenever there are scary noises, give those favorites, one tiny piece at a time, every time the noise repeats. Here we call them "thunder treats". They're very special.

Someone brought an entire industrial-strength drum carder to the festival. Presumably they brought it so they could do "while-you-wait" carding for customers.I know there's at least one merchant at MD S&W that sets their booth up with baskets of different fibers in different colors and they let you build your own roving recipe and then will card it for you, but IDK if this one is theirs or someone else's.

Calling out poor behavior:Brian Lentz, Allstate agent and local agency owner (Washington Crossing, PA) makes a habit of mailing out unsolicited insurance advertisements to residences with a photo of each residence printed on the exterior of the envelope.That is creepy stalker shit.
