Twitter was never really profitable. Facebook is struggling and tries out weird stuff like VR to see if that could make them some real cash. And now Reddit admits it is not profitable in the least. It's almost as if you can't really make money off of people chatting online, even if you get them to be angry non-stop.Welcome to the fediverse. Sit back, relax. It's still a little rough around the edges, but there's no one even trying to make any money off of you.

Don't forget Discord, Youtube and probably many others that are eventually struggling and show the same pattern of decline. It all looks great when the user base is growing and growing, but they all turn on their users eventually by getting aggressive with ads, pushing out 3rd party apps, getting soft on fascists etc etc just to make more money until all that is left is a hell hole no one wants to socialize on anymore.

Here is one simple trick to combat climate change that they don't want you to know: VOTE!!Vote for people that put combating climate change high on the agenda. Vote always and in every election! Only politics can force the big sweeping changes needed, but they'll only do it if voters want it enough! Tell them you want it!

People keep making lists with the things individuals can do to help reduce your carbon emissions, but getting politically active is the number one thing you should be doing.Taking the bus? How about governments expanding public transportation so everyone wants to?Drive electric? How about the government would make electric easier and cheaper, so everyone wants to switch?Have less children? How about governments forcing companies to do reduce THEIR emissions with carbon taxes etc?
