The communities based around almost everything that I'm interested in are full of gender-nutters and other Current Thingism types, which makes me not want to go within a thousand miles of them, and therefore makes it much harder to find people who aren't insane to discuss the things that I enjoy.I've been resisting calling for this outright, because it probably isn't going to be good for the world in general, but I think I just want to have completely separate societies now. The nutters can have their stuff, we'll have ours, and hopefully we'll never meet.That will probably herald the beginning of the end for our species, but I'm not sure I'm actually that bothered any more.

Amazon is the only site whereby when I try and refine a search, the number of results actually increases.I started with 116 results, and somehow attempting to narrow it down by rating and price got me up to over 6,000.It's not like I want Jeff Bezos to be any richer, but I'm just amazed at how this is the world's biggest shopping site, despite having such a consistently horrible interface.

I realise that they're probably deliberately doing it to wind us up, but there really isn't anything more likely to drive me so far right that Steve Laws looks like a wet liberal by comparison, than someone gloating about the demographic and cultural replacement of Britain.I just saw someone doing exactly that in a comment just now, and I can only assume it was some sort of right-wing accelerationist pretending to be a foreigner, because I have no idea what an actual immigrant would think that they'd be achieving through doing something like that.Though Ash Sarkar has openly joked about the very same thing, so maybe some people really are that stupid.
