       If anyone else is sick of #Microsoft and their new adware engine that is #Windows11, I can help you with #Linux Mint.  I've learned enough about it to help you stumble through, and it isn't nearly as difficult as you might think.  It's changed a lot, become a lot more user-friendly, even brainless if all you want to do is the stuff you did on Windows and play games on Steam.  The only game I've tried so far that doesn't work is Age of Empires 4, and that's likely cuz of my old graphics card.

       @TranshumanBlues @davidrevoy we should have pose it at every turn, is the main point. We can say that the fediverse is open for anyone, and that if you don't like it, you can just block them, or unfederated, but that doesn't solve the actual problem of evil tech corporations. It isn't enough to hope people will independently force them out. If we could do that, we would have done so already; they're too powerful, too wealthy. They need to be systematically strangled.
