       @sir Having messed around with Bazel a bit, it definitely has weak spots, and if the project is just one language, it's often more trouble than it's worth.That being said, the multi-language integration, remote caching, test result caching, and strongly-enforced reproducibility are definitely nice. For better or worse, I think it's gonna become increasingly ubiquitous once some of the kinks are ironed out.

       @sir If it's any consolation: at work we get an alert whenever gitlab has an "unofficial" outage (i.e. starts returning 500s on normal endpoints). People want to disable it because it's basically daily spam at this point.
