       Mastodon has introduced me to the joy of reading descriptive #alttext. I take in the image then read the text as icing on the cake. It can really add extra personality to images.

       Please don’t use mouse poison. It works its way up the food chain, poisoning raccoons, birds, coyotes, and barn cats. Bootsy Collins may not recover from his exposure to neurotoxin. The emergency vet did her best and now we’re doing our best to keep him comfortable and, if he’s lucky, he’ll recover but he’ll never be the same. #CatsOfMastodon
