You know what my favorite part of the war on Christmas is, it’s being literally screamed at about Jesus when I say “thanks anyway but I’m Jewish so I don’t celebrate” or maybe it is having an annual fight about decorations in the open plan office where at least one person accuses me of being joyless and hard hearted, or perhaps it’s the annual uptick in questions about why “your people rejected Christ”

Most of the folks I know who don’t vote are heavily involved in political action on an ongoing basis, I’m not mad if they abstain from one form of harm reduction because they don’t want to legitimize a garbage system. I’m more pissed at people who only vote and don’t do anything else.

I’m very excited for this year’s annual Christmas crop of people asking me why Jewish people don’t believe in Jesus with varying degrees of hostility. I’m planning on being extremely rude to even the most well intentioned inquiries, and it’s ok because it’s not my job to be nice to rude questions :)

I feel like a bad dog mom because Rev still won’t let me clip his nails and he prefers to chew them down himself. I know it’s because he was a stray for like 7 years and I’m a good dog mom for rescuing him and teaching him about not eating (most) trash and sleeping indoors but I wish he’d let me do it :/
