       @aral agree, terrible intents with material backing should be published early. It is also shows what is possible. If not commercially viable, surveillance will pick it up.

       @stux in the face of a narcissist one thing matters, and that is whether the other person outshines them. The approved garb for Z would be a suit, but of inferior quality. It shows one is subjugated but intends to fit in, with servitude. The issue they have with the military style sweater is that they think it outshines them based on rules they cannot fathom. Hence the anger over it all.

       @shaknais @ErikJonker thanks, so in this case the executive had no authority, right? Isn't it that the employee is simply not fired. (I appreciate that the phrase "illegally fired" is used because people sort of get what it is about.) Perhaps comparable to the police telling me I'm fired, although I work for a plumber. I'm trying to understand how this legally works out. An illegal firing to me is when there is no cause, or the employer violates the employment contract/law. No?

       @pluralistic This is where Luigi has made a difference. These stories never saw the light before. People have suffered, people have died , people have gone bankrupt for the sake of grift and profits in a "rent seeking" type of industry! I don't condone murder, but if the same people who condone atrocities and war crimes in Gaza and elsewhere call it the "fog of War", we can expect that they call his deed to have been comitted in the fog of a war for justice as well.

       @stux if you're a pension fund and have to sell holdings on the way down (which someone else buys) and later spent those same dollars to buy back on the way up (which someone else sold you) and the market is fully back where it was before, these percentages don't matter. But you lost a piece of your holdings and somebody else made a ton. This does not even include the transaction costs, which is friction on top of it.
