@sean Hehe, sorry about that. :pWhat's the specific problem you're running into with the thing that's harder to draw? (Can you do a closeup or something to show more detail?)

@sean That seems like it could be paralyzing. (One of the good things about gamejams is that the time pressure makes it hard to overthink things like that, since you need to make a game in a short period of time.)In general, if you're doing pixel art, low-res character sprites aren't bad (you can always include portraits to show more detail).

@sean The adventure dev communities I'm in tend to be Discord-heavy. (And they typically use Twitter, which.... I get is necessary for marketing and staying afloat as an indie dev, but >_< )

After working on commercial games that seem to take 3+ years to finish, it's really nice to start and finish a game in 2 days. :p

#AGS ran in Wine at one point, right? Or had a workable GNU/Linux port? (Trying to compare how various adventure game engines handles cursor cycling, and managed to waste an hour getting nowhere.)

Doing solo projects is fun, rather than just being the programmer. I would like to do more of them. Doing the music was a *lot* of fun. But figuring out lifehacks for hypermobile shoulders is harder for drawing than typing.

@sean At this point text banking is probably doing more harm than good for campaigns. :( It was novel in 2016. Maybe.

@sean Is there documentation anywhere for how to get the editor to run in wine?

Does anyone have suggestions "problematic" SFF books or authors? Stuff that, if you walked into someone's house and saw their books on their bookshelf, would be a red flag that this person might be unsafe, but still have plausible deniability.(for something I #amwriting)

(I like Godot lots in theory, I just haven't actually done anything serious with it and would have to port a lot of adventure/RPG infrastructure. it's *so* tempting, though.)

My friend's been teasing me by calling Jitsi "crunchy Zoom". Now Godot is "crunchy Unity".
