@0daystolive I find it nice to keep my previous or ongoing clients updated with my availability. It can also be a good place for work specific introductions, so I'm not gonna entirely knock it. I've definitely got contracts and work through there! Nowhere near as much as I have via word of mouth / referral through years though

It's a funny concept to me how many Americans feel the need to talk about how they are seeing too many political bad vibe takes they need to mute it. There is no platform based censorship or algorithm that they probably got used to on Twitter here.They are psychologically not cut out for the perspective the rest of us outside the neoliberal paradise are forced to live in.

My hard line for government surveillance is them monitoring my communications with my friends and family, if they intercept that I consider myself basically in a prison despite commiting no crime, even prisoners are entitled to secrecy communicating with their lawyers, I will actively become a terrorist. It's not an extreme position to hold.
