I've reached the point where I saw something in this timeline pointing to a thread that looks really useful, but the link goes to Twitter. I don't even want to open Twitter for any reason. I have everything I need here.

@brewsterkahle One of the funniest periodical titles that I ran across decades ago as a student assistant in the serials department (at the Univ. of Kansas) was "Concrete Abstracts."

@brewsterkahle Love it! They've developed quite a spectrum of titles. Academic journals tend to go on forever.

We all know what the appropriate logo should be for the next stage of dying #Twitter. How many graphic designers have made variations of this graphic?

What Google doesn't grok is that, while creating a Chromium free browser may extremely hard, you don't want to give tens of thousands of developers, programmers, designers, and engineers an excuse to work together to develop an alternative. They also underestimate how much the public loves ad blockers and hates ads. Ad blockers are the biggest consumer boycott in history. #WEI #WebEnvironmentIntegrity #browsers #webdevelopment

And once anti-monopoly lawyers, activists, and politicians get wind of this, that will supercharge break up efforts against Google. Which are long overdue.
