Makers, I have a question from the seat of ignorance.I need to cut an 1/8" (3mm) sheet of aluminum down to size to replace a busted borosilicate glass heated bed on a 3d printer. I dont know what I am doing in this regard.Is it true that with the appropriate blade and safety equipment I can do this at home with a skill saw?I've observed using a 2x4 as a guide clamped to the sheet, you can get good cuts but IDK if this is accurate and i'm signing up for a trip to urgent care.

Continuing the investigation of current gen self-hosted photo options, Immich is extremely impressive for what it does. I imported roughly 16GB of photos just to kick the tires on a 4 thread, 16bgb little instance and it chewed through the upload in around 18 minutes. I used go-immich to partially process one of these takeout exports, and *whistle* this project is already really good compared to whats out there.

:flan_think: IDK what i've done with my framework screwdriver and spudger, and my touchpad is acting up a bit. I think I need to dig into the laptop and just tighten up the screws on the touchpad mount. :oops:

@ajroach42 before I go too much deeper, here's a single rec as a temp checkBook of Demons is a diablo-esque card battler that i adore and sank probably 400 hours into.
