@Genen @bstirling @adam As a canadian this is the wildest fucking thing to me. Everyone needs ID to vote. EVERYONE. Nobody thinks natives are too stupid, or blacks. They just make a rule and make the ID's easy (adjacent) to get. In ontario we even have "photo" cards which just prove your identity without having to drive. IT IS SO WILD TO ME that voter ID is even an issue, and that the black people don't think its highly offensive

I was talking to my brother the other day via text and he's got iPhone and I have an android. Without RCS its a pain in the ass to reply to texts but I think I figured out a workaround.You put an emote reaction on the text you want to "quote" or refer to, then have the same matching emote in the text you're replying with. Does that make sense?Ideally, it's not a facial emote or something with meaning already so I use a 🌲 because tree in almost all contexts is tree.
