Defend yourself, stay safe and don't tolerate bullshit or hate - absolutely. No fucking question. But also be proactive in eliminating hate, not by simply running it out, but by changing it from within. If you want your viewpoint to be more common, it sure wouldn't hurt for more people to realize they think you've got a good point. Right?
