@atomicpoet This looks interesting. Especially in light of it being separated from Mastodon development as I understand it. What's the development approach? Do the devs do UX research and do community engagement?

@atomicpoet @kainoa Thanks for confirming that #Calckey is a fork of #Misskey. Where is the community discussion related to development? GitHub?

@atomicpoet @dekkzz76 @louis@emacs.ch @louis@evil.social I was just asking on another post if it was possible to migrate from one Calckey instance to another. Are you saying if I move from Mastodon to Calckey, I can import my posts from Mastodon as well as who I follow? I don't suppose you can also import your followers during the migration? Is this written up somewhere that I've missed?

@louis Excellent blog article and I fully agree that a foundation would be an excellent move for Mastodon. That said, that relies on someone being willing to let their child grow up and leave the house, so to speak. I expect if a Founder didn't invision that from the gitgo, it's probably a very difficult decision to move to later, when things are going well.

@rysiek Wouldn't it be great if they had their own instance for their spam community so they could have fun without bothering the rest of us. Oh wait, they do! It's mastodon.social../snark
