@yes @cjd Sure. For researchers, Twitter offers lots of access. Not brilliant from the user perspective, but that's how it is. So I assume that's why the study authors chose twitter posts, but yes, big data analysis requires to know and consider your dataset.

I am aware that the US had major welfare reforms at the time, to cope with the crisis consequences. Does this suggest Mr Long had a major impact on the development of these?

When will the pandemic end?In this interesting piece in "The Atlantic", the author argues that it may relate to human perception. That people's desire to socialise in all history evaded the sense of risk in war-torn and otherwise threatening environments. I would like to try to get some people in from my university, because identifying topics together is easier.If I find someone, it could become an info-package on groundwater if things go well. But maybe also some students training to become teachers could be reached.Would you mind to add an eMail adress or something, to make it more accessible if e.g. considered at a university?

Just downloaded #Zotero ref manager, to finally exchange Mendeley (before the Desktop client stops support).Zotero has a reasonable privacy statement, and is run by a foundation rather than a corp.Anyone else in #science having made experiences with Zotero? @stux You are right to ask whether waste storage is more a problem than current CO2 emission - here in Germany, phase-out of nuclear power preceeded phase-out of fossil ressource powered plants. Maybe not the wisest choice already before the current mess.Midterm, I am very pro decentralised renewables, and should fusion be needed (certainly more centralised production in fewer plants) I hope it will be to only a limited extent...
