@RTP So you're running Phosh or Ubuntu Touch then? I was recently looking at the pinephone pro which has nice hardware improvements but it sounds like the camera is still not usable, so probably gonna wait a little longer before screwing around with it.

Firefox's newest update introduces a "Copy Without Site Tracking" context menu button.I feel like I'm in the minority of users that painstakingly removes tracking params on every link I share, so this is a really nice QoL improvement.https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/126.0/releasenotes/#firefox #privacy

Yesterday, I saw a post of a historical photo that ended up being ai. Today, Meta is abandoning fact checking. This makes me wonder—does anyone know if Mastodon has considered giving users a way to link their sources?Wikipedia comes to mind, but even more so, OpenStreetMap, where each time you contribute, you also link any sources. In a similar way you view the "Edit History" on a toot, it would be neat if you could also see sources.#Mastodon #feedback

So, this ant was crawling around my desk and was looking thirsty, so I gave her some sugar water. She seemed to enjoy it and went on her way.Now there are half a dozen ants crawling around my desk. This is somehow the fault of @futurebird

@hn50 I missed this quote from the Firefox ToS when I was reading about it yesterday. > Mozilla can suspend or end anyone’s access to Firefox at any time for any reason, including if Mozilla decides not to offer Firefox anymore.I know Mozilla added a note that people are misunderstanding their intent, but that kind of legal language along with the "royalty-fee worldwide license to data you input" thing do not below in an open-source browser.

Shout-out to the brand new update to #F1 TV where they disable the entire website if you're not on Chrome/Edge/Safari.

@art @Blender The last line—"We're all in the same boat, we must overcome our differences, and find ways to work together."that so succinctly describes the film, and at a time when I think the whole world needs to hear that.
