@ZDF Ihr bedauert, „dass die Äußerungen Kritik ausgelöst haben?“ Nicht die Äußerungen werden bedauert, sondern das Auslösen von Kritik? Das ist wirklich eine kunstvolle Non-Pology ohne jedes Problemverständnis. Ernstzunehmende Menschen äußern sich dazu, wenn sie antisemitischen Topoi auf den Leim gehen / sie verbreiten und hinterher haben sie und alle anderen was draus gelernt / erkennen das früher. @EDPS @EDPS_supervisor A while ago Germany was gifted an Internet censorship law against consensus of all experts - by today’s president of @EU_Commission . It was so bad from each possible point of view that it was never applied but repealed silently.This is why #vonDerLeyen was nicknamed #Zensursula as was #MEP #Censilia Malmström a while later for similar reasons. @senficon @bkastl @mspro Nahezu alle Covid-Erkrankungen in den letzten Wochen, von denen ich im Freundeskreis gehört habe, begannen mit Erkältungssymptomen bei negativem Test. Der Test war erst 1-2 Tage nach Symptombeginn positiv.Aber es gibt auch immer noch “normale” Erkältungen und trockene Winter-Luft.Und dass es auf dem #37c3 zu Ansteckungen kommen musste, war uns ja schon klar. Es wäre halt schön, wenn wir es geschafft hätten, das einigermassen in Grenzen zu halten.

@senficon @bkastl @mspro Gefühlt war ich an Tag 0 mit Maske sehr allein, aber jeden Tag trugen mehr eine Maske.Ich fand das etwas enttäuschend und hätte mehr erwartet - letzten Endes ist das ja keine binäre Geschichte.

@randahl I don’t think that it’s even necessary for the US to pull out of NATO. Trump1 mentioned that the US may not react if Russia invades a NATO member. That’s enough to damage NATO’s central promise. Voting for Trump2 is the end of it.Unfortunately this means that Europe has to be able to defend itself without NATO. That means giving even more money/power to the military industrial complex and to open the door for future military conflicts with the US.

@randahl So we’ll spend our money on surveillance and weapons, which hopefully are adapted to the new kind of warfare we see in Ukraine, instead of spending it on renewables, climate, education and bridging the social divide. The lack of the latter two will create further fertile ground for future fascist regimes, who may like surveillance and weapons.It’s not that we can’t have nice things, but we don’t maintain them until they are destroyed because we like entertainment.

@Mastodon You are now competing with other providers of these services while you are the developer of the software, too. So there is an incentive to keep your competition down. You’ll use software and/or documentation to achieve that.And when the first lawsuits about lacking moderation drop, buying “proper” moderation will be considered the only responsible way to operate a server.This is the way to centralize the fediverse. It’s a bad decision.
