@dictatordave I am talking about the bombings and all the killing and wounding and displacings and the imprisoning -- actually I am wrong: Israel has super few deaths compared to just a long weekend in the Summer in Chicago. Yikes!

D.C.: 127–187 homicides/year (~18–26 per 100k). Chicago: 416–587 (~15–16 per 100k). Tel Aviv: low routine homicide, but periodic terrorism can cause spikes (rare, high-casualty events). Different risk: chronic gun violence (US) vs episodic terror (TLV).

I asked someone on my own post, ‘So are you calling Alex Pretti a vigilante?’ and Facebook instantly hit me with a temporary comment restriction until Feb 5 at 4:42 PM ET (16:42). Haven’t seen that since the COVID era. Interesting timing.
