@gyptazy @EVduckR @gerrymcgovern @jeroenvanbergen @stefanoThe waste is everywhere you look! The world needs more kiss (as in keepit simple) in every domain. Simple and clean solutions are often moreefficient, well thought, easier maintained, and so on. Mother naturewould probably agree.edit : I've' seen your blog, I like the concept!

@stefano did you take any particular precaution after the zfs upgrade, besides copying the loader.efi to the efi partition ?

@stefano a box in a box in a box ... and the network is perfectly fine with what must be a double bridgewhen a system is well designed, it goes sometimes beyond your expectations

Midiplay : tui midi player#midiplay is a nice tui midi player with pause and seek, written in rust :https://gitlab.com/dajoha/midiplayUsed in conjunction with lilypond, vim, and a pdf viewer, you've got a complete composition set.It needs timidity in server mode and its virtual midi ports, so I don't think it runs on *BSD, unfortunetly.#music #midi #player #tui #linux@offtopic

Backgournd copy/move files in vifm with task-spoolerI recently found out that you can advantageously use a batch/queue tasksystem like task-spooler (tsp or ts executable, depending on yourdistro) in a variety of situations. For instance, to copy or move files in vifm :" mc-like maps" copynnoremap <f5> :!tsp rsync -av --progress %f %D<cr>" movennoremap <f6> :!tsp rsync -av --progress --remove-source-files %f %D<cr>The copy/move will then be queued and run in the background. You cancheck it with :tspTo cat a task output :tsp -c task-idhttps://viric.name/soft/ts/Ideai inspired by this gotbletu video:https://inv.tux.pizza/watch?v=zrBUZ2g5_O4@unix

Currently switching from bspwm to herbstluftwm. Both are great, but the latter one seems more intuitive to configure (imho), espccially the herbstclient. Love it!The great news is : I was bale to keep 80% of my config since it's in my sxhkdrc. Hurray to modularity!
