@biscuit_tornado I was raised in a different religious tradition, and a lot of what you say applies to that one too. A lot of religion is about reinforcing social control and getting people to accept their fates as divinely ordained.

@stux The #oligarch got an office in the West Wing AFTER he did a Nazi salute TWICE at an inauguration rally. All the racists know that he is one of them, and that is why they cheer him on. Back in 2022 and 2023, he was testing the limits, now he knows that are no limits on his power. I was a strategy consultant for years. I did many projects for companies large and small that focused on #efficiency. The biggest winner in this #election has been #oligarchy. #Oligarchs came out openly against #democracy and used every trick in the book to divide the American people against one another so they can rule us more directly than they have ever done in the modern era. They control #CorporateMedia and they will now strengthen their control in DC.We have been on the road to oligarchy for a long time, and 11/5/24 will be as big a milestone on it as 1/21/10 when the Citizens United ruling was issued.
