@stux Unfortunate but not entirely unexpected right? Small group like existing #Mastodon users get overrun by an influx like the #TwitterMigration That's bound to generate a lot of new users that can't be bothered to read codes of conduct and the like. A lot will just see it as #MastodonTwitter

@stux A digital euro would be fine if it has:- proper governance- no way to "invalidate" or "expire" coins (like with the digital yuan)- guaranteed privacy somehowand of course we'd need a physical backup in case of power outages caused by, oh I don't know, some war somewhere for example?If people can't pay for a bread at the baker's while the power is out, it'll jusr lead to a secondary, unofficial and unregulated payment option... oh wait... 😂

@BrodieOnLinux Both look fine too me.I will admit though that the new one looks less like a bird and the envelope being pushed to the back is making it less clear that its an envelope.The old one is classier and has more personality.Boils down to what you're going for I guess. Personally I've rarely used #Thunderbird since I consider it cluttered and messy similar to #outlook If Thunderbird's #UI would follow the changes of their #logo I'd be a #happycamper

@webmink Hey there, just read your article. I totally agree on the rights racket being performed by a lot of companies. Not sure I agree with all of your points though.What I missed in your article is an underlying argumentation on why something is good or bad? That would be helpfull in understanding.Any plans on incorporating these rules into a "standard" of sorts?I'm working on a "freedom" scale with rules for open source projects myself. I'll post more on that when "finished".
