@raccoon OMG She's amazing! Samurai or red mage? Or Cramoissaire? (That last one's just a joke, but in my RP canon, there's a secret cabal of red mage samurai who call themselves the Cramoisaires, a reference to an old Ishgardian word for "red.")

@raccoon Oooh, that's so wonderful! I really want to commission something big one day, but I have a ways to go before I get there. One day, though! In the meantime, I'm really grateful I can still make cool pictures with the tools we still have!P.S. Joan is a red mage too! She actually helped her uncle to add the samurai skills to the cramoisaire job style. She was trained by her late best friend Wyra'a, who was trained by an Ishgardian noble named Camilla, who was trained by X'rhun! Her samurai job training came from a ronin who also trained her late fiance. (She lives a dangerous life. đ )And since X'rhun trained Alisae, that's how many degrees of separation I have from her. XD

Four years ago, #Maxx #Kisne traveled back in time 19 years, to our timeline, in order to save our star. All he brought with him were his clothes, his weapons, and his trusty #chocobo #Rocket.In #FFXIVRP terms, this is backstory, and Rocket has been with us now for the better part of four years of RP.Today, one of #Joan's chocobos, #Rime, gave birth to a brood of chocobo chicks that includes #LJ's brand newborn baby chocobo, whom she has named Rocket because "he boo and he go fast!" Which I suppose are fine reasons to name someone Rocket to a three-year-old, I suppose. đ The picture of the adult man and the giant blue chocobo are Maxx and Rocket in the present (and they're about 19 years ahead of us in terms of their age and maturity). The picture of Joan and LJ with the two chocobos, where it's the little chick that's blue? That's LJ (Maxx's current timeline variant) with baby Rocket. đ #FFXIVMiqote #GPosers #Chocobo

In response, I put three of my characters' chocobos in the same exact position to replicate the picture exactly.Because if any bird deserves to be called a dinosaur, it's the honorable chocobo. đ I was very proud and gave my friend, who also loves chocobos, many happies.#FFXIV #GPosersP.S. @raccoon You can't change battle chocobos IRL. Game mechanics don't permit it, and it wouldn't make much sense. You can change their color and name, though, for RP reasons!Aldis is still an NPC, but he's retired now.

@raccoon Oh that makes sense why you'd ask!There are no solo pics of Rime because shortly after coming home with Joan, LJ helped Maxx dye all her feathers red, which resulted in very bright pink feathers.So while cosmetically, and IRL, the change is exactly the same, in RP, one change is a replacement of parent with child and one change is dye, bad ideas, and lots of energy. :P
