       Suddenly reminded that Samsung implemented UEFI so poorly on some of their laptops that running `rm -rf --no-preserve root /` under Linux on some Samsung systems would effectively brick the laptop, because it would wipe the EFI storage/settings and the EFI wouldn't restore defaults on boot if blank.
