I turned a feature on on my Mac that announces the time every 15 minutes. Damn does that work. Voice says, “it’s 3:30”,I hear,“It’s been 30 minutes have you sent that fucking message yet?!”Effective #ADHD tool for my needs.

I was just telling my kid how easy it use to be to pirate games and movies and apps. Ahh, the old internet. Playing Halo 2 on a hacked Xbox before the release date was our major achievement though. Nothing revolutionary 😂😂

#nostr is just the way. I know it. I feel it. I’m holding steady for the long run. I know so many of you are doing the same. I see you. I feel the connections on Nostr as so much deeper than any other digital life I’ve ever experienced. I’m not here everyday. No matter what the medium, sometimes it’s too much social, period. I focus on my family, I focus on myself and my work, and I focus on the things and people in my life that bring me joy and genuine good feelings. Most other things and people that drag me down, I tell to fuck off, and send them packing with love. It’s a harsh defense mechanism to protect my own energy, but it’s vital. I’m tired of hiding from other peoples’ sensitivities, and letting myself be less because of someone else’s fears. I’ve done a lot of that, and repressed a lot of what I really believe and feel to fit in to relationships and social circles who insist “being nice” is far better than being honest. Don’t be Nice. Be Free. Don’t hold yourself back on account of anybody. And if you do it all with love, not fear, the right way will come. I can only speak from experience, as I do the work myself, and this glorious life continues to unfold around me, despite the clutter and the chaos. I’m Free. ✌🏼🧡🏴☠️

Im not going to deny the trouble we may be in, but I’m more worried about the profound amount of plastic garbage we are tossing around the Earth. It’s not the amount of people, it’s the sickening amount of resources that some waste over others. In our modern world, an Xbox uses more energy than a family of 4 would have two generations ago. That’s the fucked part.
