It's so easy to spend fifteen minutes doing nothing important, but very hard to spend fifteen minutes doing nothing.

@nick I am interested to know which of these was the first one you thought of :)

@fribbledom as we were canoeing the other day, we saw a cabin up on a cliff from the river and someone asked if I could live there. I said I could if there was good wifi. The response? "You're such a millennial"

@ColinTheMathmo you know the other side of the flow chart right? Does it move? Yes. Should it move? No. Duct tape...

@ColinTheMathmo I (should have at least) guess that you did. But others might find it amusing. I think I've used more duct tape than wd40 in my life...

Sorry if this turns out to be a silly question, but I couldn't find (or think of) an answer.Suppose I add edges at random to a set of vertices until I have a connected graph. What is the expected number of cut vertices?

I wonder which has been written/typed more in human history: "(" or ")". Obviously parentheses are accidentally left open, but on the other hand it's quite common for Russians (and presumably others) to type "))))))))" as a form of emoticon. Do these balance out? Are there other times that one gets used without the other?

@Breakfastisready ah very nice! I hadn't thought of those :) <- I suppose even non-Russian emoticons are contributing a fair amount.

Is it just me or is the search function here broken? Is it supposed to search this instance, or federated or what? I get no results, even for very common words. Sorry to bother you @christianp @ColinTheMathmo ?

Does anyone have a name for patterns like that shown in the photo? Me and my girlfriend noticed one and started noticing it everywhere. I've seen it on some cars, and some old public noticeboards.
