       @FediFollows @gretathunberg hi there Fedifollows. I know being verified on mastodon is not happening (yet)... but I wonder if someone put themself on here impressionating themselfs to be a well known or famous person.. how do people really know it's the real person? We are pretty new to mastodon ourselfs so we just wonder how the verification works on making sure people are getting influenced by the real people and not fake accounts that impressionate someone else?

       Some people don't like us that we reblog cats from the hashtag we use that was used 3 times when we showed up. We do it just because of the love for cats and reshare content from accounts we think that deserve to be seen by others and hope other people like the content just as much as we do and go follow the accounts we share. We like to build a community around cats and catpeople and get those people to connect with eachother on a central place on mastodon.Kind regards Team Mastodon
