New coffeemaker from the antique store: a Drip-O-Lator, ca 1930. It brews amazingly well, with very gentle dripping and no bypass, much like the modern Tricolate. @rek #theGalley #coffee

I picked up knitting again recently. I made this cozy for a mason jar and tried to felt it, but it didn't shrink at all. Oh, well! It fits on a quart jar instead of on the half-quart. #theWorkshop #knitting #felt #masonjar

Attempting to re-felt it by boiling with soapy water was slightly more successful. Running it through the clothes dryer now.
