It just occurred to me that Windows building in BSD probably would have made more sense from a licensing perspective, but they were probably looking at it from a “we need to stem the flow of users out of our operating system” perspective.

@cel Don’t worry about this. It’s the long haul, so if you feel there is a more efficient way, it will add up over the long term. Like in a strategy game you invest for the long term and usually sacrifice for the short term if you’re serious about the endgame.
