       Genuine question: why are video game bosses called "bosses"? Is it some 80's r/antiwork sentiment? A reference to crime bosses? Where'd the name come from?

       There's no home for me here.I didn't want my instance to block Meta. For that, I and others have been called idiots, traitors, sent death threats, labelled Nazis, and been deliberately misgendered. They know it hurts. They know it's a threat veiled in innocent language. They know, because these threats overwhelmingly come from ostensibly queer-friendly instances.
