       @cwebber OK so, stay with me here. You know in Star Trek the United Federation of Planets has the Prime Directive? Well, imagine there are other directives too. Now imagine a planetary member of the Federation communicates the directives to other members of the Federation through subspace.        @peter @ocdtrekkie @matrix So theoretically, if I had a private photo server on a closed network at home, but also had a Tailscale (https://tailscale.com/) network set up, I could be anywhere, a web app could ask for whatever photo services I have access to, and my private server could pop up to populate a file picker? Does that sound right?

       I'm starting a weekly livestream (Twitch style) on my #Fediverse enabled #Owncast server, @streaming (https://lyre.live/)Tonight, Thursday 5/11 at 8pm EDT, will be my first night and we'll be exploring anything and everything Fediverse! The vibe will be similar to Twitch-style "Just Chatting" streams with an invitation to come on camera. Lurking encouraged!
