@hancoktom41 yo, how did I not see this before. Is this at the new crib or a separate location?

@felsqualle Just when I thought Debian (any many distros based on Debian) would cause no harm, this happens 🙄 hope this is just speculation and don't come into fruition

@hancoktom41 they can't put the effort in to making the music sound good, so what makes you think any effort is going into the album art 😂

Bringing home my childhood #Legos with me tonight. The Duplo box is my curated collection of favorite Legos, and the Knex box is an extension of the Duplo box. Also taking home my original #Atari Flashback.

@matthew I tried it out for a little bit a month or so ago but I didn't like the aesthetic of it. It felt odd to have the search bar on the side and not at the top like it has been forever in web browsers. I wanted to check out it's tab grouping features but I couldn't figure it out so I just switched back to Vivaldi.

@matthew I absolutely love Thinkpads. I use a T42 and a T420 for Windows 98 SE and Windows XP, respectively

A few weeks back I found these SATA laptop drives in a dumpster behind a once abandoned third party apple repair store. I finally got around to using #gparted to wipe all of the drives so that I could use them. Here's a photo of the drives I found and wiped

@matthew ooh, if never heard of Tribblix before. Guess I'll be adding that to the list of operating systems to try out on my T420. It's basically became my multi-boot system ever since I replaced the DVD drive with a second SATA HDD caddy.

@matthew as a freelance computer repair technician myself, the most nightmarish thing for me to replace is laptop screens. I'm always afraid of accidentally breaking the screen or the screen arriving broken. On top of that, many newer laptops are intimidating for me to take apart.

@matthew I'll take screws I have to keep track of over adhesives I have to tug on and/or dissolve any day. Or worse, heaven forbid it's all held together with plastic clips 💀

@matthew I plan on putting LMDE on a spare laptop I have for my girlfriend. She doesn't have a laptop and I don't really want to put Win11 or even Tiny10 on it. Rather stick to a Linux distro that's easy for beginners

Does anyone out there know of #Linux alternative to VirtualMIDI Synth? I used it often when playing MIDI files with different soundfonts on Windows but I have yet to find a suitable replacement.

If you're into late 90s/early 2000s #laptops, I highly recommend picking these up. A CompactFlash to PCMCIA adapter, and an SD to CF adapter. Paired with an SD card, this works great as an option for a secondary drive on old laptops. I use a 128GB card for games and programs on #Win98SE on my Thinkpad T42

@matthew Vivaldi has been my daily driver for 2 years now. I love the grouped tabs feature which is why I've stuck with it for so long.
