@kallisti Yes, and to the selfish subject, the abolition of narcissism is better for itself than the existence of narcissism, because it makes the world that the selfish subject inhabits a lot worse, not only because narcissists are walking cancer in and of themselves, but the people they drain are also removed from giving to the world what they would do naturally if there was no narcissistic black hole to suck their enjoyment. But why not be a narcissist yourself? They're generally living awful lives, their personalities are pure armor and their contact with reality has completely collapsed, they're the most hollow and shallow people in existence, and while that is good for the things that neoliberal capitalism values, it is not good for actually feeling good just being a thing that exists. That's why narcissist need to feed on others in the first place, they're a void that can't generate value, only suck it out, but they don't actually digest the value they just destroy it and wonder why it does not make them happy. They can never feel the fundamental lack in their psyche, no one can, but the narcissist is blind to the fact that they can't.
