It also does copy-paste from PDF properly, so I don't need to manually delete line breaks. It seems to handle word-dividing hyphens alright too, tho we'll see if that'll stand the test of time.

You know what's crazy? There are still people wanting and trying to be doctors. People who are working towards a career in hospitals. In this day and age.If I had such plans pre-pandemic, having seen the utter ungratefulness, disrespect, violence, hate, and shit, I'd've dropped those plans by May 2020, and I'd forget I even had those plans in the first place.

Any of you use space heaters? Are they efficient? Our boiler is beyond having kicked the bucket, and we'll likely have to pay upwards of TRY1000/mo (almost half the min wage) to midly warm the place in the winter. The replacement is in the ballpart of 6k which would really spread us thin over the cold months.I'll be researching if we can use these devices to attain at least similar heating to the natural gas boiler, so if you have any info / guesses, it's really welcome if you can share. We'll have to repair and keep the boiler around for water, but if I can replace it with something hopefully greener and more reliable, that'd really be a welcome improvement.

@wauz Yeah we have one of them infrared things (called a UFO here after the major brand 😂) and they just heat the side of you facing it.That last ones you mention are what I was thinking about, specifically the portable ones I had seen in a couple Technology Connections vids (which, thinking of it, I should rewatch now I guess).

@silverspookgames If you value the opinion of an ex-Muslim living in a Muslim majority country: it's not that simple re: Islam and women. E.g. Surat an-Nisa 34 is pretty famous: https://legacy.quran.com/4/34, you might want to compare multiple versions. Western exoticism towards Islam overlooks a lot of suffering. It's a patriarchal religion just like Christianity. "Equality for women actually" so long as the women are docile and do as men say.Amen to the rest of the thread.
