@BrodieOnLinux XMP is overrated $hit. Don't bother bout itIt literally doesn't matter & won't have a negligible difference in any load times. On the top, it actually harms your RAM by forcing out of a stable config to an overclocked DRAM frequency.

@BrodieOnLinux The clockspeeds & timings are pre-determined before physical DDR4 memory modules even manufactured. Memory is volatile & consumes specific range of voltage. So their build is predetermined keeping voltage in mind.XMP basically tries to overclock that voltage part & unlocks lil bit of clockspeed boost. But that is very negligible IMHO.Even if you use AMD hardware, the freq diff has to be more than 20% to actually notice increased performance.

@BrodieOnLinux It's so strange that xdg-desktop-portal source is actually inside flatpak repo instead of freedesktop gitlab XD

@BrodieOnLinux Yup. XMP is disabled by BIOS bydefault, for stability reasons.

@BrodieOnLinux Yup. XMP is disabled by BIOS bydefault, for stability reasons. But as for rated performance, my main machine's memory modules are rated for 2400mhz, but I can overclock it to 2666, even though it's rated for 2400 on stock. So I don't think that's the case, since they already ship with their rated speeds & run on their intended frequencies.I saw on your videos, your memory literally runs on 2133. I think you can overclock to 2400, if your motherboard allows it.

@BrodieOnLinux Hey brod. Can you once explore / look into wayland native terminal emulators. Alacritty, kitty, uxrvt etc. all of these are built with xorg in mind. When I asked ducky, it suggested me a terminal called "foot"...🤔

@BrodieOnLinux It's not just Arch/AUR. The whole Linux market is too fragmented. We can't do $hit about it, except for using global methods such as flatpaks & appimages.

@BrodieOnLinux GPUs suck. Games are bloat. I'd rather mine with it & earn some crypto instead of wasting my time on button smashing lmao. The real games exist in real life. Sports, olympics, heck even hackathons for programmers, linux enthusiasts playing with network, servers, bug bounty, etc. all of these are games for real chads.

@BrodieOnLinux I'd rather suggest develop your skills in the mean time, instead of playing computer games brodie. Manage your time well. You can do better.

@BrodieOnLinux Games ain't relax. It's a dopamine drug. The real relax is probably sitting below a tree on a sunny day drinking latte, with your girlfriend xD.

@distrotube If you're a FOSS promoter, why do you still use Google Search ?
