@dick_turpin I think that's probably a bit too optimistic - I've upgraded all of my international packages to tracked and booked a collection so I should have some proof they've been sent although for the packages I sent in December that's still all I have!

@hackaday I hope they print/scan small otherwise I'm going to need bigger labels and then bigger bags to put the bigger labels on...

I see people are disappointed when they realise ChatGPT isn't reversing MD5 it's just regurgitating known hashes. Luckily I decided not to block Claudebot/etc. from https://hashes.link/ and they're happily spending resources ingesting thousands of pages so you never know đŸ¤Ŗ .

My TV stand has been full for a while. I'm thinking 4 stuck together hung on the wall (good for 160 reels) should help clear my desk a little đŸ¤Ŗ .

Some might say I make too many Ideal Diode variants 😁 but I always liked the idea of this all micro USB version I designed in 2018 but the micro USB plug was just too fragile 😞 .

I grabbed a couple of RP2040-GEEK #Waveshare boards the other day from #ThePiHut as they looked handy but I'm a bit disappointed they didn't add the extra hardware needed for the BOOT button to double as a user button 😞 .

I went to the dark side and got a couple of ESP32-S3-GEEK which adds WiFi, more FLASH (16MB), 2MB PSRAM and you get easy access to the button from within #CircuitPython đŸ¤¯ which should make it a lot more useful.

@foone iirc 30 years ago I would have been using CAD (with parallel port dongle), stacking transparencies for better contrast, using a homemade light box and then sticking the PCB in a repurposed sandwich box full of ferric chloride 😆.

@foone in reality it was a pita as whatever was on the other side of the thin magazine page would sometimes show up in a photocopy ☚ī¸.

A good start to the day for solar but looking at the weather forecast it's not going to last ☚ī¸.

My share of Graig Fatha wind turbine should help fill the gap a little though 🙂.

I'm eventually looking at doing the IOSS thing for my @tindie store https://www.tindie.com/stores/8086net/. Hopefully the pain will be worth it and it won't be a short term experiment đŸ˜Ŧ.
