@Gabbarni you are! corporates can scan through various apps on your phone and if you use google/facebook/twitter logins its basically a gold mine for advertisement for the company. People hardly consider the side effects when allowing all these apps the permission to access personal data because convenience.

@Gabbarni Now coming to carriers and govt, there are most likely snooping using DPI(Deep packet inspection) hardware/software. It's all done in the name to protect the country but its treating the entire populace as the bad guys first. Thats why consumers should demand change. LInux &LineageOS need more consumer traction.Purism/Librem laptops/phones need to be bought & promoted. Open hardware needs to go mainstream. People should be able to repair(Right to Repair bill) their products.

@Gabbarni anything and everything will be monetized wherever and whenever possible. And in the future I'm guaranteeing all the data weve posted online will be used against you when convenient.Digital rights and open source hardware/software are the only way to save our selves.Sadly the awareness is lacking and people think it's not something that will affect them.

So other than provide food on a mass scale and like a reply pointed out organizational skills I really can't see the benefit of religions.Sure it provides spiritual calmness and an escape for many but I feel it can be substituted by doing something you love or enjoy as well.Even the food part is still making you dependent instead of independent unless you contribute back in cooking or other forms and earn a living.
