How do I contact admins about blocking a domain on here? I've just seen some very obvious transphobia with someone literally posting a gif about trans people killing themselves.Then I went to report, and was going to check the domain to see if it's worth blocking said domain, only to realise that person is literally the admin of the domain in question, so that domain should absolutely be blocked.It's this account https://kurosawa.moe/@dia

@theo Yeah, I mean I blocked the person so I'm fine, but considering this person who literally sent me trans suicide gifs out of nowhere is the admin of that domain...I figured it's probably worth letting instance admins know that this domain should be blocked, because if that's the admin I assume the whole domain is full of it

and yes when you're a public figure people will criticise your actionsbut hey they can act like they're the real victims and get views while literally nothing happened to them other than trans people in their chat going "I'm disappointed in you"I'm sure she'll complain people are calling her a terf now since it's the first suggestion when searching her. @xerz @theresnotime Sure, more transparency is always good, and I don't know how transparent wikipedia is or isn't, though I'd assume if there was actual misuse of funds we'd hear of it somehow.But I'd point at the fact that it's a miracle it even exists and isn't owned by a big corporation monetising it. Imagine the alternative if it was owned by Google or something. Or just look at the current dismantling of web 2.0.Wikipedia honestly deserves our trust after all this time.

Just a general FYI, as a consequence of Musk tweeting that cis is a slur, there is now vandalism going on wiktionary.Transphobes are editing the definition of cisgender to add that it's offensive, and that people prefer "gender-normative" and "nontransgender" (which are so much not a thing that one of those words doesn't even exist on the platform).I don't know much about how wiki works or how to report this kind of behaviour.I tried to revert the guy's edit, and literally seconds later he reverted it again.https://en.wiktionary.org/w/index.php?title=cisgender&oldid=73567303#AdjectiveThe only "sources" are recent articles reacting to Elon Musk's tweet.

If anyone knows how to protect pages from vandalism on wikipedia, it would be good to, because this will be used by fascists as "proof" that cisgender is controversial.Those edits were all made today specifically, and they're very clearly politically motivated.The user that keeps doing this has now locked the page, so the wiktionary definition of cisgender now says that it's offensive.I think it's pretty dangerous to let this up because right wingers are directly using this manipulated page to give themselves validity.

@codinghorror I don't think anyone wanted or consciously chose to rely on them, everyone just got slowly forced to rely on these platforms as more and more users of the web started refusing to create accounts on individual websites and doing everything through the same handful of big social media platforms.
