       @MichaelAntonF she walks through all the usual arguments about sustainability and vegetarianism, refuting them one by oneMy main summary is that agriculture without ruminants is fundamentally extractive. It must import fertilizer of some kind, otherwise the soil becomes depleted of nutrients. Regenerative ag will actually replenish the topsoil tho, and thus rebuilds the ecosystem over time

       @MichaelAntonF I agree. We can’t communicate with them so we have to judge based on their level of happiness. So where is a cow or chicken happier: as a wild animal, or under the protection and care of a farmer that treats them well?I’m ruling out cafos because obviously nothing would want to live like that

       @RealFake I had not read that review. It’s a bit silly. I don’t care what some pc journalist thinksI’m looking forward to only only talking on the phone and using my DSLR camera and physical notebooks. I will keep my iPhone but will try to use it like a computer, when I need powerful computing, which is less often than you think
