The Advent of Joy:In the closing scenes of Dickens' classic Christmas Carol, the Joy of Redemption is easily seen in the character of Ebenezer Scrooge. The first time I saw this movie version of "A Christmas Carol", it was shown on television, on Christmas eve of 1953. The movie has been remade many times, but I still feel that this old black & white version is the best portrayal of Dickens' beloved Christmas story. Alistair Sims brings the character of Scrooge to life on the screen, and the film's settings capture the essence of the period of Dickens' writing, (1843). So, enjoy the movie and, in the immortal words of Tiny Tim, "May God bless us, every one."https://youtu.be/oPDNKbdW9P0?si=jRpsVyTDF-9tBfSm

Day 95In The Wind:"It's Just Ridiculous:" That the Western world would join hands in sympathy with Hamas is proof of the depravity that has been spread like a disease from the ivory towers of Western academia. For, "Has not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?" It is written, "I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, And bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.” "Because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were they thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools…" of their own pride and hubris.https://youtu.be/wsDJwfr9kdI?si=XdFm0RyRvV2Q8gzM
