@dave @adam I've been de-googlizing myself for years but the only thing I really truly can't remove is Waze. Apart from the fact I've been using it since its earliest days it is a massive help with traffic reports (not having to wait for the 8's!) especially here in Israel where adoption is near total.I hate to admit it but I get huge value from it....

@adam Hive could easily handle authentic transfer of payments but the Bitcoin maxi crowd can't cope. It has a stable coin too already. The only algo decentralised stable coin with a track history. And the Bitcoin bros are jumping in bed with the worst centralized systems. @dave

@dave @ericpp @raucao @merryoscar it might be possible to use the streaming rpc call (in fact my version 2 code does use that call for sending Lightning) but it was such a heavy lift for me to send keysend that when it didn't just "work" with the later call I gave up.It really is a bit of a dance to get it working.

I got all of 3speak's Value blocks switched over to lnaddress away from keysend.Just a question probably for @dave but might help if this is asked publicly. Why is PodcastIndex still in the result with the node address?I definitely only have lnaddress (including 1% for PodcastIndex) in the rss.

I'm a week late listening to @ChadF on Podcasting 2.0. What a pity @bumi and @Alby banned Israel from Alby: I had a drop in replacement for a non custodial keysend wallet almost ready to go. And even now I can't do the work to turn it on because testing without Alby during the transition is impossible FOR ME.Alby completly screwed the entire world of Podcasting 2.0 and nobody should trust them for any business critical process.

@adam I just got to the bit in Podcasting 2.0 about Alby and LNAddress.@dave I said all this.LNAddress is a fucked up system. You can crash any LNAddress system and I've known this since I hand coded my own LNAddress API. I've got massive rate limiting on creation of invoices because the system sucks.Keysend was GENIUS because the invoice was created AFTER the node finds out the paying is already ON ITS WAY.

@adam @dave here's why your Umbrel probably died.I think it was yesterday that a 1TB drive became too small for Bitcoin.I upgraded mine to a 2TB SSD on my silly little Rasp Pi IV a few weeks ago because I still use that as my home dev node. Otherwise the 50% on my data would be 100%+
