Two days after repair guy Louis Rossmann helped show how Apple tells their customer to buy a new computer if even as little a pin on a connector is bent, Apple told US customs to impound 1000 USD worth of his spare parts as 'counterfeit'. Rossmann was not amused.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AVL65qwBGnw

If the British used to be so good at 'governing', then why did a quarter of the world's land area and a fifth of its population kick them out in such a short time?

@lynnesbian The Chromium-muBlock discussion is going well... </sarcasm>The comments in this screenshot weren't deleted by their authors, I bet.

@ParadeGrotesque I wonder what this toot would have sounded like in the time of King Hammurabi. "In the holy name of Marbuk, stop doing written tutorials! They are useless, don't allow interaction with your apprentices, and, unless your slabs are top-notch, will probably be horrible and a pain to read.""If I see anyone writing a tutorial, I will cut off your chiselling hand."

@yogthos From Wikipedia: "The tablet was acquired by the British Museum in 1953. It was originally found in the ruins of Ur."

@fribbledom Every year I think of this and every year I forget where I put the little key.

@schestowitz The 20 corporate members account for 68% of the 1.15 million EUR that Blender currently receives a year. Maybe they expect something back for that, but TBH this feels more like "we want Blender to stick around, because we use it a lot ourselves."I would be more worried about the Blender Institute, which runs co-development deals with businesses. Then again, I do not have a crystal ball, you might be right.

@schestowitz "This membership level is for organisations who want the option to monitor in more detail what will get funded with their contributions. They will get direct access to the Blender team for strategical discussions. Roadmaps and priorities will be aligned with your requirements as good as possible."So yeah, that *is* worrisome.
