It may sounds strange for people who don’t know the french culture but covid liberated french women for having to kiss people non stop to say hello (cheek against cheek and do a kiss sound with an etiquette on the number of kisses and the side of the first cheek which varies between areas. And if you don’t know the kiss etiquette of the area you’re in, it’s really awkward.)Truely it’s the best thing with covid, not having to do this again.

You had to KNOW that in Paris and in most of the country it’s 2 kisses beginning from left cheek.In the north and Belgium, it’s 1 kiss from leftIn far south west it varies from 2 kisses to 3 kisses and some area it’s 3 kisses but beginning from the right. The bourgeoisie have 4+ kisses.

#jerecrute #IHireHR is lacking a bit behind but our needs are definitely here.We hire in the operation team of eurid (the TLD of the eu. domain) in #Brussels (Diegem to be exact) in #sysadmin ( #linux + #ansible ) and infrastructure (VMWare, Dell, Purestorage, …). No need to speak French or Dutch as we use English for everything (no need to be bilingual but at least be able to have a conversation in English).We didn’t posted the offers yet as HR have a lot to do but we need strengthen our ops team, so spontaneous applications are welcome.On paper we still have to be on site in our Diegem’s offices 3 days per week and there are 2 days of remote working per week. On practice we are still working with our covid protocol and are full remote working since 2020.

In the ops team we are not at the 1st line support, so we are mostly focused on long run projects and we have a lot of them.
