@mischievoustomato @Dan_Hulson @ForbiddenDreamer @MisterLister @f0x @p @subnetter @suquili what is negligent if the physical needs are met? i know more people from poor households than rich households who came out fine. maybe it's because i'm in the sticks and "poor" doesn't mean "slum"? kids don't need a lot of stuff. most things they sell parents is utter bullshit the kids would do BETTER without, starting with formula - it's fine as backup for medical reasons, otherwise it's insane imo.

@mischievoustomato @f0x @Dan_Hulson @ForbiddenDreamer @MisterLister @p @subnetter @suquili that's more of a learned skill not something inherent to a personality.i just want people here avoid the mistakes i did. it's totally fine to have a few years of fun with your money, but it's hard to find the right moment to stop and gets harder the longer you do it. it's the curse of the millenial generation, so many people 35-45 living like they are kids or teens, wondering what is missing in life because consumables don't fill the hole anymore.
