@w3c um... 🤔 maybe you want to contact Forbes and ask them to clarify that W3C and W3Schools are two different entities and it’s _not_ you providing said certifications?

TIL that the @w3c offers its own certification program:https://w3cx.org/There are currently 7 courses that can be taken for free or for a reasonable fee to receive an official certificate. 5 of those 7 build their Front-End Web Developer curriculum. If you’re just starting your career, this is maybe interesting to you to show what you already know.

@simon so, what I gather from this is that people use a tool for their homework assignments that hasn’t read the assigned literature, too? 🤔 seems fitting.

@UnconventionalEmma German’s got „fleißig wie eine Biene“ (“hardworking like a bee”), „flotte Biene“ (“a hottie, cutie”), „jemandem Honig ums Maul schmieren“ (“grease someone’s mouth with honey” = can be anything between flattering and bootlicking, but mostly the latter)

@futurebird if EU-based is an option: I’m quite happy with Hetzner, https://www.hetzner.com/. They offer a broad range from fully managed to virtual root servers and are quite reliable AFAICT.Their Wikipedia page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hetzner
