       @cattailnu Richard could still smell the burnt wood of the old house. Despite the snow falling down, he didn't feel the cold. She had loved this house. He remembered the first day they had walked through the door and seen her smile. Now, it was nothing more than a pile of charred dreams, burnt away by his own inability to be content. He thought of the day he'd told her that he wasn't happy anymore. "But I am," she cried. He knew she'd never forgive him. Such was his punishment.
