What I was getting at with Bow is that we are born slaves to sin. As soon as you are saved, you become the servant of righteousness. You're not obligated to fulfil the Law. You're able to love your neighbor and love the Lord.You can write that check anonymous. It's for His Glory, not your pride.

God wants you to trust Him. He doesn't want your best. He wants you to believe that He loves you enough to die for your sins. We love Him because He first loved us. His Death, Burial and Resurrection is proof of that love. If that isn't sufficient, what else can He do.The only thing left undone is for us to believe.

Yes. I'm all for you doing good works. Fellowship is great. They have nothing to do with Him saving us.While we were still sinners, He loved us. He went to the Cross. Now you can believe He died for our sins. He was buried. He rose again. That's all you can do to be saved.Now that you do believe, you are saved, you can do those good works, where before you were just tooting your own horn. Look at me! Without faith, it is impossible to please God. You have faith! Glorify God.
