@KarunaOriginal source of the hit piece is Russian propaganda outlet RT.Surprising.Ukraine will deal with corruption much more easily if Russia takes their murdering military away. It is true that corruption in Ukraine needs to be dealt with, but russian propagandists use it as an excuse for Russian aggression, meanwhile Russia remains corrupt to the core.

@Karuna It is correct that Bondar is reporting corruption investigations - but notice the propaganda added by RT (russia is desparate to halt support for Ukraine) "Nearly $500 million given to Kiev" - Nowhere does Bondar or other Ukrainian sources say the money was given to Kyiv. And the russified spelling of Kyiv and "Mykhailo" Bondar...Can't help themselves. Plus the irrelevant justification for russia's continuing attacks tacked on the end.

@Karuna Since when was russifying Ukrainian names into russian, when reporting in English, "traditional spelling"? That makes zero sense.Equivalent to a Spaniard writing "Enrique" in an English report when reporting about a German called "Heinrich" (while the English equivalent is "Henry").Such russification is not a minor accident but is part of a comprehensive and deliberate scheme to suppress and extinguish undesired languages and cultures by russia. All empires do (or have done) this.

@Karuna You specifically follow the Russian spelling actually, not English.

@futurebird I complete polls for public services and sometimes very small businesses. Never for corporates, banks etc. If they want my input for their profit making enterprise, they can pay for it.

@tomjennings enshittification proceeds apace! One workaround is to not give location permission to firefox, in your app permissions settings. Means you can't use location data in firefox, which I never do anyway.

Now THIS was super interesting. What happened when Bernie Sanders visited deep Trump country, West Virginia. Trump voters responded very positively to Sanders and his message when they actually met him, instead of only hearing lies about him from Fox etc. Also a clear illustration of how the Democratic party abandoned working America (West Virginia was formerly hard Democrat) and how Trump voters are open to pro-worker values that the Democratic party used to represent (and which Trump lied about bringing back). One comment from Sanders that reminded me of our Labour party here in deeply unequal and poverty-ridden NZ - "...the Democratic Party is about protecting the status quo and tinkering around the edges"The solution to Trumpism might be hiding in this video?https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RP8Oxe6OxJc

@Nonilex What's the bet that the US supreme court finds that corporate price gouging is protected by the constitution somehow..
