@TruckDriver I had to wait 8 weeks between my diagnosis and a PET scan. And 3 weeks after that to start chemo. The painful and bleeding tumor on my skin grew from the size of a quarter to about 3" across in that time. I couldn't even walk. It was bullshit because Kaiser wanted to save money by doing the scan in house instead of outsourcing it.

@EvolLove I am gonna have to repower this thing this winter. And if I could extend the cockpit by 2 feet or so I could fit 6 cylinder diesels in it and would be awesome. But I don't know if it is worth it.Sounds like you've spent a ton of time on that. It looks professional though. I've definitely seen worse that has come out of a yard.

@EvolLove it is a custom boat that was built on the molds of a glasply, which was a big company in my area during the 70s. I got a great deal on it when I bought it, but the motors are worn out and I have a cracked piston now.Yes the fly bridge takes a lot of wind. The boat gets blown around a lot. I plan on getting new canvas soon so I can easily remove it and reduce the surface area of the boat.

@EvolLove its pretty nice to drive from the flybridge though. The boat will go over 40mph and its easier to spot logs and dock from up there. But even having two adults up top changes the center of gravity enough to notice. Displacement is maybe 12000lbs and it moves around quite a bit when someone moves from side to side. Trimming it at speed with wind and others on board was chaotic enough for me to put zipwakes on it.

@OneEyeKing @Sui so as an employer I need to be regulated to make sure that I don't fire people I don't agree with? I don't see any sort of realistic distinction between professional and personal life. I feel like that can be whatever I wanted it to be, unless you want the government to make another sweet rule about that too.

@Truthy You should be able to put the key in the on position without starting it and shift it into neutral. Or you could pull up the boot or panel around the shifter and try to figure out how to manually disable the lockout function.Also if you let the tow company know that the car is stuck in park they can either get it out of park or put the wheels on dollies to move it.
